Policy

Prevention:

All employees, volunteers, and contractors doing business with Babe are made aware of our stance and policy regarding child sexual abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking.

The Babe app provides the means to "flag" any suspicious activity on screens with the flag icon. Selecting the icon takes the user to a flag screen where they can report child sexual abuse and exploitation, among other things. Information collected from the flag screen is stored for review by Babe trained staff.

Regardless of access to the app, anyone is able to contact us on this website, at the Contact Us link. There any individual aware of any suspicious activity may report their concern.

Identification:

Babe staff are trained to recognize signs of child sexual abuse and exploitation, such as fake accounts used to mislead, exploit, or traffic children.

Response:

Babe promptly reports suspected or confirmed cases of child sexual abuse and exploitation to the National Child Abuse Hotline or local authorities.

Babe takes all information and reports seriously and investigate promptly.

Information collected from the flag screen is reviewed within 24 hours by trained Babe staff, and investigated, once received.

Relevant or suspicious information will be reported to local, regional, or national law enforcement.

Confidentiality:

Babe maintains confidentiality of all reports and investigations to protect the privacy of the victims and their families.

Babe shares information only with law enforcement agencies who need to know in order to respond to the incident and provide support.

Accountability:

Babe holds suspicious or convicted perpetrators accountable through account elimination. Legal action may be taken.

Babe regularly reviews and updates this policy to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Conclusion:

Babe is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation.

By implementing this policy, we aim to create a safe and supportive environment for all children in our care.
